8 Hour On-Site Course

Course Objective: 

The ONSITE Telehandler Operator Certification training program is designed to meet the needs of the counterbalanced, sit-down, & rider type Telehandler operators, regardless of brand. The course is ideal for all operators as it is designed to reinforce the importance of proper Telehandler safety and handling techniques. 

The course focus is on these requirements: 

• Pre-Operation Requirements 
• Principals of stability, balance and capacity limits 
• Understanding capacity charts 
• Safe Telehandler Operator Fundamentals (Driving, Load pick-up and Placement 
• Post operational requirements 
• Fueling internal combustion powered vehicles 
• Exceeds all Provincial & Federal Regulations for Safe Operation 
• 
  

ALL OPERATORS MUST SHOW COMPETENCY IN ALL THESE REQUIREMENTS. 

This comprehensive program includes classroom training on the theory of Telehandler operation and safety issues, Hands on operation of the Telehandler & Practical Evaluation is based on participants ability to demonstrate: 

1. Daily inspection procedure. 

2. Site inspection for hazards. 

3. Demonstration of safe operation of the machine. 

4. Completion of an Exam on all aspects of the operation of the equipment as well as the regulations relating to the safe operation of the equipment is required. 

OPERATOR CERTIFICATIONS ARE VALID FOR 3 YEARS
