Fall Protection Certification Course (Fall Arrest and Fall Restraint) 

Awareness Training 

8 Hour On-Site Course


The ON-SITE Fall Protection Course will guide you through all aspects of fall protection, including the division of responsibilities, the differences between Fall Restraint and Fall Arrest, inspection procedures for all types of equipment, plus operating and rescue procedures. Our comprehensive course will explain in detail what you need to know, emphasize key points and test your knowledge retention at the completion of the course. Training to “Work at Heights” is required by the provincial governing boards across Canada. By doing both theory and practical On-Site training the employer is doing their “Due Diligence” and will maintain compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. After completion of this course each operator will be issued a 3 Year Operator Certificate

After completion of this course, operators will understand: 

  • Government requirements when “Working at Heights”. 
  • The differences between Fall Restraint and Fall Arrest. 
  • All Personal Fall Protection equipment required to safely perform “Work at Heights” 
  • Proper gear maintenance through CSA standards.
  • Proper Inspection techniques and requirements for all fall protection equipment. 
  • Individual Safety responsibilities of the Employee, Management, Owner and Manufacturer. 
  • Potential hazards associated with “Working at heights”. 
  • Eliminating or controlling fall hazards. 
  • Emergencies & Rescue Planning. 

 

 

Maximum 15 operators per session 

All Applicable taxes are extra 

Mileage $1.15/km if applicable 

Travel expenses (cost plus 15%) are extra if applicable.
